Wedding planning can be overwhelming. You’ve got a million different things to do – it can be stressful! One of the very first things you should do (and I don’t say you “should do” things often) is get yourself a wedding planning to do list… and luckily, today I have a free one for you!
A Wedding Planning Plan of Attack
Weddings are not rocket science to organise, but they aren’t easy either. There’s a lot of things to remember, details to organise, and you’re doing it for the first time (usually) so of course you want to do it right!
When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I just think to myself “what’s the one thing I can do right now?“ Then I do that one thing.
When I talk to brides who are freaking out and thinking of eloping, they are usually trying to do a million things at once. You don’t need to. Just take it one step at a time (and you can decide on what that first step will be, by getting yourself a wedding planning to do list!)
Southern Bride’s wedding planning to do list will help you prioritise the bits you should be doing, instead of jumping ahead, and you can leave the other stuff till later on. It’s absolutely free to you, thanks to the sponsorship of our Southern Bride Verified members. We will even post you a printed wedding planning checklist (within New Zealand) so there’s no excuses.
Simply complete the form below and we will post you one out shortly.
Your Wedding Planning Checklist
This wedding to-do list is your action plan for making this monstrous task manageable. I’ve broken the wedding planning to do’s down into when they need done. Plus you’ll find that this list is Southern-Hemisphere-friendly. Many to do lists online are North America-centric, talking about laws or traditions that just don’t happen down under (like blood tests!).

I’ve talked about making your own wedding planning folder before, and getting organised, but what good is a folder without some things to fill it? So why don’t you you download the printable wedding planning checklist here, to pop into your wedding planning folder.
You’ll also join the Southern Bride email list to get handy reminders about when you should be doing important wedding stuff (plus I have a few more subscriber-only freebies that you can grab).
